I love this lady. All of my childhood memories are with her. She read me Bible stories, cooked my favorite foods, cut my hair for me, let me play with her lipstick, taught me how to color, watched Sesame Street with me, put up with all of my childish insanity, and loved me like her own grandchild so much that I began telling people she was my grandma. I am so incredibly happy to be able to tell people that she raised me. She’s been in my life for all of my 17 years and I have never seen her lose her temper or act in any sort of malicious way towards another person. Always so kind, patient, and loving. A big animal-lover, too! Happy 81st Birthday, Grandma. I’ve never ever met anyone else who loved me so quickly the way you did (Seriously, she’s had a picture of herself and me in her wallet for years now!) and I hope that I get to be just like you.
