Nothing about us is obligation. The things we do can all be traced back to adoration, not expectation. I do not tell you things that you need to hear, I tell you things I want you to know and when what I want you to know is identical to what you needed to hear, then it just makes hearing & saying it that much better. I do not do the things I do because it is the way things have always been done but because you have given me inspiration to do something and want to execute it. I do not touch you the way I do because it’s what everyone else does but because, for a moment, I felt compelled for our senses to meet. I do not mix you with the people that love me the most because it is conventional but because I want them to love you like they love me, too. I do not talk about you in hopes of elevating my position but in hopes of elevating yours. Sacrifice always implies a giving up of something else desirable but there is no sacrifice for me because nothing else is desirable. I do not make sacrifices because there is nothing else better than being loved by you.
